This year’s efforts by Banskobystrický Brewery have also borne fruit, not only in the growing number of Urpiner golden beverage enthusiasts but also in the form of a prestigious award at the International Beer Festival Golden Beer Seal in Litoměřice. This year marked the 35th edition, and it rightly deserves to be called the oldest and most significant tasting competition in the Czech Republic.
URPINER EXCLUSIVE 16° – an exclusive pale lager, repeatedly confirmed its exceptional qualities, and in the strong pale beers category, it received the Silver Beer Seal.
More than two hundred breweries from eleven countries participated in the competition, and the best beer experts and brewers, predominantly from Czech breweries, tasted over twelve hundred beer samples. The objectivity and regularity of the competition were guaranteed by world-certified authorities Bureau Veritas, TŰV SŰD, and 3EC International.
Although Banskobystrický Brewery is the smallest industrial brewery in Slovakia, in terms of quality, it ranks among the world’s best, which is evidenced by an attribute that only the elite of brewing can boast – “The Most Awarded Slovak Brewery”. Since 2006, it has received more than 55 quality awards at domestic and international competitions.
